this is SOOOO cool. this is what is considered the first "structural" film....

it is taken from the front of a trolley traveling down Market Street in San Fransisco in 1905...it is a period when cars and horse buggies shared the roads and there are no street signs and no red lights

everyone is dressed in suits (even the KIDS) and hats and the women are all in long dresses..

it is chaos! I dont' see how people didn't get killed, the way the cars and buggies and trolleys go anywhich way!

absolutely fascinating!

it's sad...all the buildings are destroyed...and the traffic is all gone. I see just a few horse and buggies, and NO cars. lots of men, very few women but they are ALL walking in ONE direction in crowds...very eerie..
